Here at Puptopia we pride ourselves on taking great care of your pets. Your business is very important to our small organization.  We want to maintain good communication between you and our groomers to ensure your fur-babies are healthy and safe while here.

Pre-registration

All handlers must have the appropriate vaccination records and registration form on file before their dog can make a grooming appt.  

Vaccinations

Your dogs must be fully vaccinated by a veterinarian or vet tech.  You must submit proof of the records before you arrive.  Vaccines that you buy at a local store and that you administer at home will not be honored because there is no record of it.  Vaccines required are Rabies and the Distemper Combination (DHPP).  We also HIGHLY suggest dogs have flea and tick protection and heartworm protection.    Check with your veterinarian to see what the appropriate shots are at what ages.  Should your dog have adverse reactions to any of these vaccines, please contact us.  You can get a letter from your vet excusing them.  
 

Rescheduling and No Call / No Shows

We ask that you call us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time for all cancellations.  Emergent situations will be excused.  

After one cancellation or no show, you'll be reminded of our policy and we will reschedule you.  After a second offense,   you'll need to pre-pay going forward or put a credit card on file.  After that, we can no longer offer you an appointment.

Late pickup/ Drop offs

Our time is valuable just like yours.  Please arrive on time and pick up your dog within 20 minutes of when your called.  We give a general groom time so you'll be in the area.  We charge a fee of $15 for late drop off/pick ups the first time and if it is a habit, we will not be able to schedule you going forward.
